Chris Wilson, Chief Operating Officer
As Chief Operating Officer and our team’s Lead Cost Estimator, Chris leads our daily operations and manages a team of cost estimators and schedulers.
With over 20-years of experience as a contractor, cost estimator, and consultant, Chris has a strong foundation of estimating, scheduling, and managing construction projects. As one of the contractors in Utah to deliver CMGC projects in the early 2000s, Chris developed an enthusiasm for alternate delivery methods. He has a thorough understanding of early contractor involvement project delivery methods, and he understands how to maximize the value of these programs (CMGC, CMAR, DB, and PDB).
Chris is passionate about discovering and proving out innovations on our projects. As the Lead Cost Estimator on our independent cost estimating teams, Chris often finds more efficient and cost-saving ways to build the projects we are working on. Investigating alternative construction techniques provides the owner with options to the traditional construction approaches, and often leads to schedule optimizations and budget savings. His expertise in alternate delivery methods and innovative construction techniques adds value to all our projects.
Chris is active in Design-Build Institute of America and earned his DBIA certification in 2020. He has BS in Construction Management, and an MBA with an emphasis in risk management.
