Innovative Contracting and Engineering provided ICE services for this project. The scope of work included constructing scour countermeasures in the form of concrete deflector pads to protect piers and riprap bank stabilization in the Truckee River, to build new access roads for both structures, to repair spalled/corroded existing concrete substructure and to construct river mitigation measures including river diversion and dewatering, fish salvage, and vegetation as required by the USACE. On this project, our team provided independent cost estimating, construction scheduling, and constructability reviews, and participated in the partnering sessions and in risk management.
