Innovative Contracting & Engineering (ICE)
ICE is comprised of former contractors that have estimated and scheduled projects prior to becoming consultants. We work together on Design/Bid/Build, Design/Build, P3, CMAR, and CM/GC projects. ICE provides expertise in roadway, earthwork, bridges, utilities, flood control, parks and trails, marine, transit, rail, airports, and more.
Independent Cost Estimating Services is all we do.
We avoid conflicts and we don't get distracted with design, general contracting, and construction management work. We are laser-focused on providing the most accurate estimates and schedules. We have a mindset of adding innovation and value at every step. Our team looks for ways to build the project more efficiently, reducing the overall construction duration, and saving the Client money.
ICE has worked as a team for more than a decade.
We are familiar with each team member's strengths. This enables us to work together seamlessly to make our first-rate. When starting a new project, we look for alternate approaches to construction, and we look for opportunities to optimize the construction phasing/sequencing. With this approach, our team gets a fresh look at the project, and we take advantage of every available innovation. Our goal with every project is to identify Innovations You Can Build!
We pride ourselves on estimate accuracy.
We do this by continuously monitoring market fluctuations. We continually update our labor, equipment, and material cost based on our active projects nationwide. We start by developing the most economical approach to construction, then we develop our schedule and estimate based on best practices. Our estimators and schedulers are experts in HCSS Heavy Bid, Primavera P6 scheduling, AGTEK, and Bluebeam software platforms. We use best construction management practices to provide fair market estimates to assist in decision making, budgeting, and negotiating construction contracts.
