US101 - Remove Fish Barriers; Washington DOT
WSDOT is using the Progressive Design/Build delivery method to design and construct fish passable structures for 29 fish passage barriers in Grays Harbor, Clallam, and Jefferson Counties. Each fish passable structure includes bridge or culvert construction, streambed grading, restoration of fish habitat, landscaping, retaining walls, maintenance of traffic, right of way acquisition, drainage, and traffic safety elements such as guardrail and barrier.
Innovative Contracting and Engineering will provide ICE services including cost estimating, scheduling, constructability reviews, risk management, and helping WSDOT with the development of the RFP documents and contractor selection.
