Project 7 Regional Water Supply Resiliency Program
To ensure a resilient and reliable water supply for over 50,000 residents within the Tri-County Water Conservancy District, this project established a new, state-of-the-art water treatment plant and transmission infrastructure. Key components include a 5.5-mile raw water transmission line from Ridgway Reservoir to a strategically located water treatment facility (WTP) in Montrose, Colorado. By enhancing capacity and diversifying supply sources, this project significantly mitigates risks associated with wildfires, drought, and infrastructure failure, securing long-term water security. Project 7 delivered this project using the Progressive Design-Build delivery method.
Innovative Contracting and Engineering provided critical support by providing production-based cost estimates, construction scheduling, risk management, and constructability reviews, ensuring efficient and effective project delivery.
