Team

Dan Bender, PE (Nevada, Arizona, Utah and Louisiana)

With over 30-years of heavy civil design experience, Mr. Bender leads our ICE team.  He graduated with a BSCE in 1992.  Las Vegas, Nevada has been his home base since 1993.  Over the past 6-years, Dan has managed ICE projects all over the United States.  Mr. Bender’s project management experience provides our team with a working knowledge of managing budgets and schedules, risk management, quality assurance, quantity and cost estimating, and plan review on complex, multi-disciplinary projects.  

Chris Wilson

With over 20-years experience as a contractor, cost estimator and consultant, Mr. Wilson leads our cost estimating team and our alternate delivery methods team.  He earned a BS in Construction Management, and an MBA with an emphasis in risk management.  Chris knows the challenges and opportunities associated with the CM/GC (CMAR) project delivery process. Over the past 8 years, he has helped develop and shape bidding and solicitation process for several agencies including NDOT, UDOT, and LADOTD.  CM/GC tools he developed are being used in projects around the country.  Mr. Wilson’s expertise in alternate delivery methods and innovative construction techniques adds value to all of our projects.

Abdi Fatemi

Mr. Fatemi is a former contractor with over 40 years of experience in the industry.  He is our Lead Cost Estimator.  In 2011, Abdi helped our clients realize over $90 million in documented savings.  His experience as a contractor provides him with a unique perspective as a consultant.  He knows all the contractor estimating strategies, and he has been heavily trained in negotiating.  Since joining our team, Abdi’s thorough understanding of the contractor’s perspective and negotiation skills has helped our clients award CMAR and CM/GC contracts at the fair market value.  

Tom Gott

With over 40-years experience in the construction industry (including owning and operating a design-build company for over 25 years), Tom is a Sr. Scheduler and a vital part of our cost estimating team.  His recent scheduling work includes construction planning and scheduling during design, scheduling and project controls during construction including change order management, ANSI/EIA-748 compliant EVMS (Earned Value Management Systems), QC inspections, and he is proficient in Microsoft Project, Primavera and TILOS scheduling platforms.  Tom is one of the most expert schedulers in the industry.  His most recent experience includes performing project controls and monthly schedule and pay reviews for Project Neon, an $800 million system to system interchange in the heart of Las Vegas, Nevada.
