Accuracy - Continuous Database Management

Using HCSS Heavy Bid software, we have developed a substantial database consisting of labor rates, equipment rates, and material costs provided by suppliers throughout the United States.

Rather than using historically based unit prices when estimating a project, we request pricing from local suppliers with whom we have established relationships. ICE uses this information to update our database so we can provide our Clients with the most current and accurate fair market cost estimate.

As we complete each project, we update our database to improve accuracy.  We continually monitor market conditions.  We analyze market trends such as contractor bid volumes and contractor workload.  We monitor private, commercial, and infrastructure projects so we are aware of resource availability.  All of these indicators help us predict price fluctuations in the markets we're working in, which ultimately improves our estimating accuracy.
